Cambridge, the Outdoors Man

Cambridge---in full speed, flying ears, with a smile on his face!
A good-sized yard to run in is a must for this boy.

A beautiful boy with a striking figure!
Cambridge is always on the lookout for birds.

Setterball Cambridge

Cambridge enjoys his outdoor time, but he's quiet inside. He loves to curl up on the couch---or will join my husband in bed, when he sleeps in. He's all sweetness.

What a handsome boy!

Cambridge has been with us a week now and hs settled in wonderfully.
He loves to romp around in the backyard, then settle in on the couch.

He is one big lovebug---with us and with any visitor coming into the house.

He's crazy about knuckle bones and rawhides.

Cambridge is a 2-3 year old, gorgeous, tri-color setter boy. He’s very outgoing and active. Cambridge enjoys spending time outside in the yard. He does know how to get over chain link fencing, and therefore he will need to go to a home with either invisible fencing, or high privacy fencing of at least 6 foot in height.

Inside Cambridge will settle down nicely, if he’s had sufficient outside exercise time and will curl up quietly by your feet or on the couch. Cambridge is housebroken and does go nicely into his crate when lured into it with a treat. He does not do well with small puppies, or small dogs of under 25 lbs in size. He’s doing just fine with the six dogs he’s met in his current foster home that are 35 lbs or more and is playful and interacts well with them.

Cambridge is very cuddly and loves a lot of attention. He would do nicely either as an only dog or with a playful companion of approximately his own size. Cambridge spent a week in temp foster care with children that were 7 years and older and was wonderful with them.

Cambridge knows the commands “sit” and “down” and seems eager to please his humans. He pulls a bit when on a leash, but should be fine when walked on an English Slip Lead, or harness. He rides well in a car. Cambridge is quite birdy and showed us a wonderful point when tested with a pheasant wing. We have no knowledge if he’s been bird hunting before, but he definitely has the nose and instinct to potentially make a great hunting buddy.

On the Road

Zorro is on the road to finding his forever home. Thanks to some wonderful volunteers it is only a matter of time before this fine fellow warms the hearts of a special family.
